FAQs

Question: How can I register for a workshop?
Answer: You may register online and either pay by credit card. If you wish to pay by check please contact us by calling, (407) 290 - 2754.

Question: Where would I mail my payment?
Answer: Please mail any checks along with your invoice to the following address:  D. L. Newslow & Associates, 8260 Cathy Ann Street, Orlando, FL  32818.

Question: If I have questions who would I call?
Answer: You would call the corporate office and ask for Jade Piearson or Angela Hester. The phone number is (407) 290 - 2754.

Question: What type of payments do you accept?
Answer: We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and personal or company checks.

Questions: What are your hours of operation?
Answer: Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST. We generally take our lunch somewhere from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. If you get the voice mail during lunch time, then someone will call you back as soon as they return.

Question: What is the time for your workshops?
Answer: Although the workshops may vary in time (you will have to look at the individual class description to see the times listed), most classes run from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with a couple of breaks and time for lunch. Lunch is always brought in for the attendees unless the class ends at noon.

Question: When do I have to register to receive the Early Bird Discount?
Answer: You will need to register and pay at least 30 days prior to the start of the workshop in order to receive the early bird discount.

Question: Am I able to use more than one discount code when I register?
Answer: You can only use more than one discount code if you register and pay at least 30 days prior to the workshop starting. The early bird discount would be automatic and you would see it reflected in your final price. You don’t actually have to enter the code to get this discount. If you have another discount code, you can enter it in the “Discount Code” field when you checkout. This discount will also be reflected in your final price.

Question: Where are the workshops held?
Answer: They are held at corporate office of the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals located at:
7680 Universal Boulevard
Orlando, Florida 32819
Phone: 1-800-446-0257

Question: I don’t have time to leave the plant to attend a workshop. Would you come to my worksite and hold the workshop there?
Answer: Of course, we want to make it easy for you. If you have at least 10 people for a particular workshop, we can come to you and hold the workshop at your site?

Question: What type of dress is required?
Answer: Business casual is the normal attire. You might want to bring a sweater or jacket since the room tends to be cool.

Question: Will you have materials for sale at the workshops?
Answer: We always bring a variety of books, cds and dvds to each workshop that cover a variety of food safety subjects. Some are available in English and Spanish.  We are happy to ship materials you purchase to your location to save you from having to carry them on the airplane.

Question: Will I receive a certificate once I complete the course?
Answer: You will receive a certificate of completion after you finish the course. If you are taking an Advanced HACCP course you will also receive a gold seal from the International HACCP Alliance.

Question: Will lunch or snacks be provided?
Answer: Lunch and snacks will be provided each day that you attend a workshop for the entire day. If your workshop is only half a day or ends at noon then lunch will not be provided on those days, but snacks will still be provided.

Question: I have a friend/spouse traveling with me. Would they be able to join us for lunch?
Answer: Yes, as long as you notify Jade Piearson before the workshop begins that you will have someone joining you for lunch that will be fine. Since the lunches are catered we will need to notify the caterer in advance. There will also be a separate $30 charge for anyone who joins you for lunch.
